The final Eurolegend short-term mobility exchange of partner schools from Belgium, Denmark and Spain took place in Ireland from Monday 8th to Friday 12th of May 2023. Partner school teachers and students engaged in the Ireland legends discovery activities. A rich program of cross-curricular school activities were enjoyed such as theatre-role-play of the Legend of ‘Etain and Midir’, field trip to Corlea Bog (Cinema and Hiking), Creative writing ‘legends in the library’ workshop by ‘Fighting Words’, Gaelic football, Hurling, Irish dancing, Traditional Music harp and fiddle workshop, singing and kayaking. Guided tours of Corlea Bog Visitors Centre, Galway City Museum of Myth, Legend and Folklore, Athlone Castle, the Viking voyage and much more. Students, we hope that your stay in Ballymahon fulfilled your expectations and you enjoyed a taste of living in the countryside and making lifetime friendships.
