Euro-Legend Detectives is an innovative programme which aims to use the sharing and exploration of cultural heritage to facilitate the following among the students of 6 European partnership schools:

• Foster European citizenship, multiculturalism and multilingualism,
• Develop key competences (literacy), foreign language and ICT skills,
• Address social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity.

Cultural heritage offers a unique platform for international cooperation and dialogue, fostering mutual respect, appreciation and understanding. However, it needs to be preserved and it is our duty to carry out actions to teach our students its social and educational value. Heritage is a source of identity and a valuable factor for empowering school communities and enabling vulnerable groups to participate fully in social and cultural life.

All mobilities and programme activities will be focused around the traditional legends of the 6 partnership schools. Recording videos, writing plays, designing interactive posters and performing activities related to the traditional legends of the 6 partnership countries will enhance literacy, ICT, foreign language and social skills, autonomy, organisation, leadership and critical thinking. All participants and will realise the importance of these skills for their future professional lives. Collaborative work will be enhanced through continuous group work in all activities and the participants will recognise its importance.
